American author and motivational speaker Dr Carolyn Jackson-Grace, is on an African tour to preach the work of God, give motivational talks, and do other mission work.

The Louisiana-based author visited schools in Eden Park.

“I am here to do mission work and motivational speaking to learners in Eden Park and members of the community in the area. My goal is to inspire and encourage each individual to become all that God has purposed them to be. I have also written a book which I hope members of this community will use as a source of inspiration,” said Jackson-Grace during an interview with the Alberton Record.

The book, titled Mastering the Mindset of Wealth, speaks about the value of small things, the principle of tithing, the determination to rise, and other faith-based initiatives.

“I want people to use this book to increase their knowledge and to change their mindset. Reading this book will allow people to see themselves differently and to know that they can do what they set their minds to,” added Jackson-Grace.

The author visited a couple of schools in Eden Park and met with principals. Jackson-Grace also went to churches and met church leaders in Eden Park.

An international and focused gathering was held at the community’s Christian Faith Centre (CFC) on 45 Abraham Street in Eden Park. The gathering was held under the theme ‘Come, Experience a Time of Refreshing.’

“We thank Apostle Nicky and Ellen van Heerden, Pastor Kelly, and the leadership of Christian Faith Centre Eden Park for their hospitality towards Dr Jackson-Grace.
