Dance Fusion prize-giving gives back to Silwerkroon residents
Donations collected during the annual event were delivered to the Silwerkroon Retirement Facility to support elderly residents with essential items.
Dance Fusion, owned by Sharron Kavanagh Potgieter, recently hosted its annual prize-giving event with a meaningful purpose beyond celebration.
As part of the event, a fundraiser was held to support the Silwerkroon Retirement facility.
Through the generosity of the Dance Fusion community, a wide range of donations were collected, including clothing, toiletries, and food products.
These contributions were collected to assist elderly residents and ensure they receive the much-needed support.
All donated items were personally delivered to Silwerkroon Retirement facility, where they were warmly received.
The initiative highlights Dance Fusion’s ongoing commitment to community upliftment and compassion, showing that the organisation values giving back just as much as artistic excellence.
Owner Sharron Kavanagh Potgieter expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed, emphasising that the fundraiser’s success was made possible by collective effort and kindness.
The initiative served as a reminder of the positive impact that community-driven projects can have on those in need.
