Bracken City event raises funds and smiles for young patients

Community members came together at Bracken City Shopping Centre to support young patients in palliative care, raising funds, spreading awareness and sharing moments of hope.

Stepping Stone Palliative Care Services hosted a community event at Bracken City Shopping Centre on March 28, bringing together families, shoppers, staff, and volunteers in support of children facing life-limiting illnesses.

The initiative created an opportunity to raise awareness and funds while uniting the community in showing care, compassion, and support for young patients and their families.

Community members were encouraged to support the initiative either by donating cupcakes ahead of the event or by making monetary contributions to help stock the sale.
