Stepping Stone Hospice has announced that all vehicle access to the Alberton Methodist Campus New Market IPU will move to the Heidelberg Road entrance from May 18, with the Ascot gate becoming pedestrian only

Stepping Stone Hospice has issued an important notice to staff, donors, volunteers, families and visitors regarding changes to vehicle access at the Alberton Methodist Campus, New Market IPU.

From Monday, May 18, the Heidelberg Road gate will become the only vehicle entrance to the campus. The change will apply to all vehicles entering the premises, including those belonging to staff members, donors, volunteers, family visitors and ambulances.

Preparatory work is expected to take place on the property during the week leading up to the change. However, the current Ascot gate will remain open to vehicles until May 17.

From May 18 onwards, the Ascot gate will serve as a pedestrian-only entrance.

Stepping Stone Hospice founder and CEO Tersia Burger apologised for any inconvenience the changes may cause and encouraged everyone visiting the campus to take note of the new arrangements and plan their routes accordingly.

The Hospice also urged community members to share the update with anyone travelling to the facility to help ensure smooth, stress-free arrivals.

Stepping Stone Hospice thanked the community for its understanding, patience and continued support during the transition.
