Residents of Sandwich Bay in Elandshaven are calling for urgent action after a water leak reportedly remained unresolved for about three months.

According to residents, the leak has been reported to the relevant authorities several times, but the problem has allegedly not been attended to.

What started as a water leak has now developed into a large hole, raising concerns about the safety of residents, motorists and pedestrians using the area.

Residents say they are frustrated that the issue has continued for months despite repeated reports. The matter has been logged with the City of Ekurhuleni under reference number CM202605271567.
