Jozi South Feral Cat Carers to host charity golf day
The fundraiser will help support the group’s work caring for, sterilising and providing medical treatment to vulnerable cats.
Jozi South Feral Cat Carers is a small but dedicated group of women who trap, sterilise, and return feral and homeless cats in the South of Johannesburg.
They care for several feral cat colonies by providing daily feeding and attending to their medical needs. They also educate communities on the importance sterilisation and vaccination.
Their Golf Charity Fundraiser event will be held at Glenvista Country Club on October 9.
There are three ways in which you can assist in raising much needed funds for Jozi South Feral Cat Carers:
• Enter a four-ball at R2 800, which includes halfway house, dinner, auction and prize-giving.
• Sponsor a hole at R2 000, which enables your company to set up a banner, table, chairs and gazebo at a one of the 18 holes. Sponsors are welcome to provide snacks, bottled water, energy drinks or alcoholic shots to the players. You may also include pamphlets, promotional items, vouchers or small gifts that can be added to our giftbags to help market and promote your company or business.
• Donate prizes/gift hampers. Donations may include alcohol for the famous ‘wheelbarrow raffle’, snacks, chocolates, gift hampers, vouchers, or any items that can be used as prizes on the day. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated.
Any monetary contribution, large or small, helps the group continue its rescue, feeding, sterilisation, and colony maintenance projects for vulnerable cats in local communities.
Jozi South Feral Cat Carers looks forward to welcoming you and your guests to its Charity Golf Day Fundraiser.
