The Rantie pom-poms performed at the Federation of Dance Drill, Cheerleading and Majorette Sport South Africa (FDDCMSA) competition.
The Alberton-based pom-poms got a first place in the junior performance cheer pom category.
The FDDCMSA is a national body that offers dance drill, colour guard, marching bands, majorette sport, baton and cheerleading to youth in South Africa and is a recognised member of the International Association of Majorette-Sport (IAM).
Some categories include small drill, large drill, defile, pom, non-prop, cheer-leading, and drumming.
