Randhart girls shine at Reddam House Waterfall T10 tournament

Laerskool Randhart’s girls’ cricket team produced an impressive run at the Reddam House Waterfall T10 tournament on September 11 and 12.

The Ranties made their mark by winning all five pool matches and securing their place in the final.

Although they fell to Soweto Hub in the final, the Randhart team finished in a fantastic second place.

The Ranties also produced standout individual performances during the tournament. Gia Smith delivered a remarkable batting display, scoring an outstanding 88 runs from just 34 balls.

Her performance was one of the tournament’s highlights for Randhart, while Katy Lee Coetzee earned further recognition after being named Fielder of the Tournament.

The school praised the entire team for their effort and determination throughout the competition. “We are incredibly proud of every player who fought hard for Rantie right to the very end,” the school said.

While the girls did not win the final, their performances throughout the tournament provided plenty of reason to celebrate. “You may not have won the final, but you certainly won us over,” the school added.
With five pool victories, a second-place finish, and individual accolades, the Ranties can look back on a memorable outing. “Congratulations, girls. The future of Rantie cricket looks bright.”
