Thank you to metro council for cleaning up

A resident of Alberton thanks the metro for removing beggars from the streets, however, was not pleased to see them back soon after.

Well done to the metro council and the police et cetera for cleaning up the nightmare of the beggars on our streets.

Why did they stop? The beggars are already back on the streets!

I was accosted by two at the intersection of the Ring Road and Padstow Street by the Clinton Hospital…one on each side of the intersection last Wednesday.

Yesterday I was accosted on the other side of town also on the ring road.

The day the Record was out on the street with the story I spotted beggars harassing the traffic.

Please let’s clean this up once and for all by supporting recognised charities that deal with this problem and NOT supporting the beggar!

I will NOT give to them, I will give to the charities and the people who work so hard to help the people who form this menace.
