ALBERTON – Being hot under the collar when I phoned and not being too polite while speaking to the person manning the phone at the other end of the line, I felt my mood easing into a more pleasant one, while I was lodging my complaint.
For starters I could not help but wonder how these people deal with a day’s work bearing the brunt of all the disgruntled residents phoning to complain, and then shout when the answer from the call centre operator is not what they want to hear.
Therefore, please allow me to request all residents phoning their complaints through to the call centre to not take it out on the operator. They are there to log your complaint and send it through to the correct departments or standby teams. They did not cause your problem, nor can they solve your problem.
