Valhalla MMA and Fitness teams do well at tournaments

Local martial arts gym Valhalla MMA and Fitness had two separate teams competing at Submission Grappling tournaments recently.

The two teams participated in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, where they did exceptionally well and made Alberton proud.

The Johannesburg team included Martin Share, who received a gold medal, Daelen Breedt a bronze, Timaya Thomson a gold and Ameerah Ebrahim a bronze.

Cape Town’s team consisted of Braeden van der Mescht, who got a gold medal, Aiden Weber a silver and Wayden Wolmarans a bronze. Deon Visser, also part of the Cape Town team, got a gold medal and Preston Vos was given a silver.
