Mondeor Meteors Senior reserve team was crowned the National Sports Centre league champions for 2021.
Despite all the challenges that sport faced and had to overcome due to Covid-19, the local soccer league came to an end.
Local team Mondeor Meteors Football club (MMFC) senior reserve team, led by coach Pablo Rapetsoa, managed to persevere to come out victorious.
“The senior teams led by example. It has not been the easiest journey and as a club they could not be prouder of the team,” said Rapetsoa.
MMFC is run by volunteers that strive to provide all levels of soccer competition for children in the south of Johannesburg. The club is affiliated with the Southern Local Football Association, which is an affiliate of the South African Football Association.
MMFC is guided by a volunteer executive committee and dedicated parent volunteers.
