Alberton Sports and Fitness Club create health awareness

Health enthusiasts and community members gathered at a New Redruth gym for its annual fitness wellness day.

While revelling in the month of love, Alberton Sports and Fitness Club invited the community to partake in their annual fitness wellness day on February 14.

The gym hosted an informative health awareness session encouraging locals to live healthily.

All who attended took part in several activities.

“These included stretch and tone, rebounding, boxing classes, super circuit demos, complimentary body assessments and many giveaways. We gave out free body assessments, supplement tastings and three free memberships to the value of R3 000 each,” said Otis Blume, the gym’s sales and marketing manager.

He also thanked the Alberton community for their support and their sponsors – Telkom, Oppo, Herbalife, Big Dawg Supplements and Sports and Fitness – for making the event a success.
