Rugby, music at Alberton Rugby Club

A day filled with five action-packed games awaits rugby fans, who can expect to see five senior sides – U19, U21, thirds, seconds and the first teams – play the students from NWU Potchefstroom.

The club is working hard to build on their performance against the Raiders, with high expectations all-round.

The Elande second team and the U21s upset some of the more favoured clubs and will hunt for another scalp this weekend.

The main game will start at 16:00. There will be post-match celebrations and entertainment by artists Tjoppie and Rayne, followed by ‘Die Kaptein’, Kurt Darren, and Liezel Pieterse.
