Hoërskool Dinamika triumphed over St Declans in a thrilling friendly match for Grade Eight learners of 2025 on October 26.
Batting first, St Declans amassed 101 runs all out in 30.5 overs.
The standout bowlers were Malan Oosthuyzen, Sam van der Grijp and Andries du Toit, each taking two wickets while conceding just eight runs.
Divan van Helden also made a significant contribution, securing one wicket without conceding any runs in his three overs.
In response, HS Dinamika chased down the target with remarkable ease, scoring 102 runs without losing a wicket in just 12.2 overs.
Malan Oosthuyzen led the charge with a solid 39 runs off 42 balls, while Jaco van Staden closely followed with 38 runs off 36 balls.
HS Dinamika clinched victory by 10 wickets.
Malan Oosthuyzen’s outstanding performance earned him the player of the match title. Congratulations are also in order for coaches Damian Smith and Ollie Hart.
