Eden Park Secondary School displayed remarkable strength to top the D16 Ubuntu Secondary School Playoffs, the district-level knockout stage for Ubuntu-stream schools.
The school competed against several others as part of the DStv Schools Netball Challenge (DSNC) and the South African Schools Netball (SASN) challenge. Ubuntu schools are classified as rural or disadvantaged institutions.
“Congratulations to our Ubuntu Secondary Schools. The D16 Ubuntu Secondary School Playoffs have come to an exciting close, and what a showcase of talent and teamwork,” said the tournament organisers in a statement.
