A thrilling all-round performance sees Hoërskool Dinamika’s U15A team defeat Marais Viljoen by 30 runs.

Hoërskool Dinamika’s U15A cricket team continued their remarkable run of form with a hard-fought 30-run win over Marais Viljoen in a closely contested league encounter.

Dinamika batted first and posted a competitive total of 206 all out in 48.3 overs.

Liam de Swardt top-scored with a composed 52 off 64 balls, setting the platform for the innings.

Daniel Kearns played a patient 33 from 86 deliveries, anchoring the middle order, while Jaco van Staden added a quick 28 off 30 balls to inject momentum late in the innings.

The Dinamika bowlers then produced a disciplined display to restrict Marais Viljoen to 176 in 43.1 overs.

Jaco van Staden led the charge with a match-winning 5/40, supported by Divan van Helden’s 2/9 and Malan Oosthuyzen’s 1/13, ensuring a well-rounded bowling performance.

Jaco’s all-round contribution, both with bat and ball, earned him the Player of the Match award.

Coaches Donovan Aucamp and Nathan Son were credited for their guidance, which continues to inspire disciplined and fearless performances from the team.
