Eden Park Secondary shines at Eden Ridge soccer tournament

Billal Sikander praised the teams and said their performances were all the more impressive because they played during the exam season.

Eden Park Secondary School celebrated its success at the recent Eden Ridge Schools Cluster Soccer Tournament.

The U15 girls’ soccer team came third, while the U15 boys’ team showcased skill and teamwork to win.

The school’s Billal Sikander said the school’s president, Prince Morapedi, played a key role in these achievements, serving as assistant coach alongside head coaches Mr Stemmer and Mrs J Ambraal.

“Prince’s dedication and leadership proved invaluable, guiding the teams through the tournament despite the challenges of the ongoing examination season.

“Our players showed commitment, teamwork, and passion on the field. I am proud of both teams.

“Balancing the tournament with exams wasn’t easy, but they demonstrated resilience and determination that represent the spirit of Eden Park,” Sikander said.
