For nearly five decades, the Legacy Gymnastics Club has developed strong, disciplined, and confident athletes.

This year, its gymnasts again raised standards when they represented Gauteng at the National Gymnastics Championships, showcasing the skill, passion, and dedication that define the club’s legacy.

“We are proud of each gymnast who stepped onto that floor, not only for their results but for the hard work, sportsmanship, and determination they showed throughout their journey,” said Kim Lategan of the club.

The national competitors included:

• Penelope da Silva: High performance 0, vault fifth, 10th overall;

• Dineo Moloto: Level 6;

• Sahana Naran: High performance 0, bar fifth, beam sixth, 10th overall;

• Khanyisile Mndaweni: Level 5, overall 10th;

• Realeboga Kunene: Level 4, vault 10th, bar second, floor second, overall fourth;

• Etana Engelbrecht: Level 4, floor second;

• Diamond Wessels: Level 6, beam first, floor second, overall fourth;

• Stella Haidlinger: Level 4;

• Michaela Michael: Level 5;

• Ebatle Mkhize: Level 4, beam fourth, floor fifth, overall 11th;

• Jenna Osborne: Level 4, vault ninth, beam eighth, overall 10th;

• Esther Stride: Level 6;

• Unathi Nkambule: Level 4, vault third, overall fourth;

• Akhile Mashego: Level 7, floor second, bar third, overall third;

• Danielle Durand: Level 4, beam 10th, floor first, overall first;

• Kaylie Nelson: Level 6;

• Emmalyn Tucker: Level 5, bar first, floor first, first overall;

• Ava Roets: Level 4, floor first, overall fourth;

• Goapele Moatshe: Level 7, vault second;

• Suzé Johnson: Level 5, bar third, overall eighth;

• Molly-Ann Naude: Level 5, bar ninth, floor 10th;
