Alberton Boxing Club reopens to welcome new members

Community members are invited to step into the ring and experience boxing as tool for fitness, discipline, and personal growth.

Alberton Boxing Club has reopened its doors, inviting community members of all ages and fitness levels to step into the ring and experience the discipline of boxing.

Based at Barry Vorster Hall on Second Avenue, the club reopened on January 12, with training sessions from 17:00 to 18:00.

Operating under the slogan, ‘Make boxing great again’, the club encourages participation from beginners and experienced boxers, stressing that all shapes and sizes are welcome.

Boxing has long been recognised for its physical and mental benefits, including improved fitness, confidence, focus, and discipline.

Alberton Boxing Club hopes to use the sport as a positive outlet for youth and adults, while strengthening community involvement.

Those interested in joining or learning more about the club may contact 082 895 9044 for further information.
