“I tried to find myself in titles. I didn’t know my identity; it felt like I wasn’t supposed to be here. I then learnt to love myself for who I am,” said Moeko.
Her message emphasised the importance of self-love as a foundation for building healthy relationships with others, encouraging attendees to appreciate their bodies and personal journeys.
The event formed part of a Valentine’s initiative, creating a soulful morning dedicated to movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection.
Participants received goodie bag treats and yoga mats to take home.
Event organiser Tamaryn Nicholson said the initiative was about more than just fitness.

“Basically, it’s about starting the year fresh but also giving yourself self-love and really enjoying your body and getting to know your body,” said Nicholson.
She added that the event also aimed to strengthen community engagement at the shopping centre.
“We are here to bring awareness to the shopping centre, bring people in the community to the shopping centre, so that they can get involved, meet other people and support their local entities,” she said.
