The popular annual Kersfees Skouspel returns to the Carnival City Big Top Arena on Saturday 14 December 2013 and features a line-up of well-loved South Africa artists.

Topping the bill is Jannie Moolman and Rina Hugo, sharing the stage with Jaconell Mouton, Alwyn Oberholster, Arina de Witt, Henrico Coetzer, Heuning, Kobus Muller, Jay and Liza Bronner.

Jannie Moolman is one of South Africa’s best known tenors with an extensive operatic and recording career. Rina Hugo’s versatile vocal range has seen her perform opera, oratoria, lieder, operetta, musicals and lighter music. Her recordings have earned Gold and Platinum status, and she has been honoured with many awards.

Well known pianist Jaconell Mouton is the musical director for the evening. In addition to performing with the Noot vir Noot band, she has shared the stage with international artists such as Stef Bos, Dana Winner, Demis Roussos and Herman van Veen. He will appear alongside the likes of Arina de Witt whose first hit was the song Rietjiesfluit won her many fans. Her latest album Timeless is a selection of timeless hits through the years.

Also on the bill is Jay from the band. After 12 years, Jay has gone solo with his recently released album Bonnie and Clyde in which he duets with Lianie May.

Performing in the show is South Africa’s recently crowned new Liefling, Liza Bronner who has just released a new album, Jy Het My Gevind. The winner of the second series of Supersterre, Kobus Muller will join the stellar line-up. Kobus has just released his first international single Turn Up the Radio which has made it to the Top 30 radio charts here in South Africa and in Europe. His second single Sunshine in the Night is also charting well.

Newcomers include Singer and songwriter Alwyn Oberholster who has just released first CD Maak of Breek and Henrico Coetzer whose debut album The Calling features his competition-winning composition as its title. Contemporary Afrikaans Country duo Heuning Jeanette Rootman and Henck Dercksen have also released their debut Christmas album Soet Kersfees.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets are available from Computicket between R130 and R250.
