For the lazy Foodie: Order In

 

One of South Africa’s first app delivery services, Order In is perfect for those nights when you’re just not keen to cook. Choose from a variety of restaurants across the country and get your favourite meal delivered straight to your door. It also has a “pick-up” option should you wish to collect your food yourself.

For the organized foodie: EatOut

 

   

The new EatOut app, launched earlier this year, lets you make restaurant bookings any time. It boasts the biggest restaurant directory in the country, meaning that there are loads of options to choose from. Once completed, you’re able to share your booking information, including a map and directions with your guests. ‘

For the sweet-toothed foodie: Krispy Kreme

 

 

Similar to the Starbucks rewards app that was launched last year, the new Krispy Kreme app is loyalty based. You earn points with every purchase and receive free doughnuts and other treats. It also gives you the opportunity to indulge in special offers before anyone else.

For the green foodie: Clean and Green eating

 

 

This app is great for those who want to “eat clean” but don’t know where to start. With access to over 200 recipes, Clean and Green eating is ideal to use every day. It also has a feature that lets you list ingredients you already have at home and matches them to an existing recipe.

For the Braai-master: Braai Nation

   

This isn’t a new app, however there’s still nothing like it. Created in 2013 by Castle Lager, Braai Nation features braai tips and recipes to guide you through the braaing process. You can also stay entertained around the braai area with the optional quiz game that comes with it.
