Investec donates temperature scan to Alex centre
The centre is situated in Ward 75 which is considered to be a hotbed of domestic violence in the township.
Investec in Sandton has quickly followed up its recent donation of a water dispenser to the #NoExcuse Victims Support Centre at KwaNobuhle Hostel with a temperature scanner.
The donation of the temperature scanner took place on April 12 by representatives of Investec Cradle Project.
The centre’s manager Charles Mphephu said he was at a loss of words to express their gratitude for the donation.
“This comes hot on the heels of yet another donation of a water dispenser on March 29. We are so grateful for the selfless act of Investec whose donation is highly appreciated,” Mphephu said.
The centre was opened earlier this year as part of Carling Black Label’s anti-gender-based violence activism programme #NoExcuse.
