Police look for suspects who robbed hair salon in Extension 7

ALEX – The suspects are unknown and have not been arrested.

Police detectives are investigating business robbery that took place on August 6 in Ext 7, Alexandra. 

According to Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, the complainant told the police that he was with his brother and six clients inside his hair salon when an unknown man, pretending to be a client, knocked on the salon door.

“He unlocked for the ‘client’ when suddenly two other unknown men armed with firearms entered the salon and started to search them. They took car keys from one of the clients, three cellphones valued at R3 000 and R1 000 in cash which was the money the salon had made.”

The suspects have not been arrested.
