Sassa releases March social grant payment dates
Sassa beneficiaries are encouraged to check the early March schedule for older persons, disability, and children grants, as well as ensure their biometric data is up to date.
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has announced the payment dates for social grants for March 2026.
Older persons grants will be paid starting March 3, disability grants will be paid from March 4, and children grants will be paid from March 5.

Sassa also reminded beneficiaries of the importance of biometric verification. This security measure confirms identities using fingerprints or facial recognition, comparing them to records in the department of home affairs system.
