New mosque a welcomed addition

So many readers will have seen the new structure gracefully peeking up between Houghton’s trees and have been curious about it. Now we know. Thank you.

How reassuring to read that the call to prayer will not irritate neighbours as fairly recently, a call to prayer from a Mayfair mosque did.

Hopefully the elders of the new mosque will open it to the public for a day; the open day to precede the formal opening of the mosque.

Many readers might recall that, a few years ago, before the Jubilee Road Mormon temple with its lovely spires was formally inaugurated, the people were welcome to see the structure with its many interesting features.
