The K206 housing settlement dispute in Extension 9 and 10 was reported to the Public Protector in 2012.
This after the housing tribunal and Alexandra Renewal Project failed to resolve the dispute.
Since then I was in contact with the Public Protector‘s office and was advised that when the full investigation had been completed, I will be advised in due course.
On 17 February, I received an email informing me that the Public Protector’s office had completed its investigation with regard to the relocation of people from Alex to K206 Extension 9 and 10. I was invited to the Public Protector’s office to receive a full report with regard to the matter and will inform affected Alexandra residents of the details of the report.
Tenants and so-called landlords will then know their fate with regard to the issue.
