A year ago, I decided to approach a young people in Alex to assist me in helping the needy in our community.
With God’s grace I managed to put together a group of people who have the same dream and vision as I have. Together we founded a festival where we invite young and established artists to perform free of charge. We ask attendees of the festival to donate stationery as an entrance fee, and last year we held activation parties as a build up to the main event, the Alex Music Festival.
Through the Alex Music Festival we have donated stationery to more than 350 children. The festival also helps with job creation in and around Alex. I would like to thank all the people and artists involved for their support.
