Iphutheng urged to foster culture of learning
Twinsaver hopes its donation will go a long way towards fostering a culture of learning, growth, and development at the school.
The Twinsaver tissue brand recently donated 40 stationery hampers to Iphutheng Primary School in Alexandra.
School principal Mike Thobejane said the donation, which included essential stationery items, came at a crucial time for the school and its learners.
Thobejane expressed his gratitude and said, ‘It (donation) came at the right time to address the need in the township’. “We are grateful as a school for the contribution that they have made.”
Twinsaver’s contribution aimed at supporting the educational needs of the learners at the school and also underscores the company’s commitment to making a positive impact in local communities through the provision of essential stationery items.
Twinsaver hopes the donation will contribute to a conducive learning environment in the school and foster a culture of academic growth and development.
The tissue manufacturing company also invited the community to participate in the Back to School competition – #GearUp4Success and stand a chance to win a share of R500 000 in school prizes by purchasing any two Twinsaver facial tissue packs and sending a “Hi” to 087 240 6818 via WhatsApp and follow the prompts. The competition runs until February 15.
