Proposal stokes ire

This facility is proposed for a property at the corner of King and Persimmon streets.

Mr Mike Spadino, chairperson of the Malvern United Community Forum (MUCF), said the organisation will oppose the proposal.

“We do not need such a place in the middle of a residential suburb and next to a crèche and school. People should write a letter expressing their opposition to this. This is your chance to do something to stop the suburb becoming a slum and taking it back from those who want to destroy your property value,” he said.
