A 24-year-old was taken to the Bedfordview SAPS for questioning following the alleged incident in Klopper Park on Saturday last week.
According to emergency services personnel, who attended to the scene, a neighbour called various authorities after hearing the young boy scream in a nearby veld.
When authorities arrived, they found the young boy lying in a veld with his pants down wearing only a t-shirt.
The 24-year-old man was with him.
The young boy told authorities the man had given him pills and injected him with an unknown substance before raping him.
The young boy was transported by ambulance to the Edenvale Hospital for tests and medical treatment.
