Four people were arrested in connection with an attempted murder that took place on October 3.

Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the Jeppe SAPS communications officer, said police officers received a call about a shooting at the corner of Davies and President streets in Doornfontein.

“When they arrived, they found out that two men were shot. One man had already been taken to hospital. The man at the scene sustained bullet wounds to his left arm and right shoulder.

“Four suspects aged between 25 and 41 were pointed out by the victim and they were arrested,” said W/O Munyai.
