Breakfast club helps out
The ABC Breakfast Club held its annual Christmas Party at the Mecure Hotel in Bedfordview on November 24.
The event was hosted by chairperson Anneliese Plettenbacher and chairperson Ria Warrens.
ABC Club members provided handovers to the charities the club has been assisting.
The first charity to receive a donation was the Little Eden home. Other recipients included Help the Child, a charity to help underprivileged children with school uniforms, and Jan Hofmeyer Community Services, a charity organisation working to uplift the non-marginalised communities in the Vredepark and Vrededorp districts.
The ABC Club has also supported the Edenvale Maternity Hospital by knitting baby jumpers for mothers at the hospital. The event was attended by members, businesswomen and women involved in charity work. There was also a performance from musician, Trevor Nasser.
