On-site meeting held with JRA

"I also raised concern about the damaged pavement at the corner of Langermann Drive and Queen Street".

Clr Alison van der Molen recently met with the Johannesburg Roads Agency to discuss infrastructure problems in her ward.

She said two on-site visits were conducted. “I showed officials all the problems such as missing manhole covers, damaged storm water drains, grass on pavements, damaged pavements, lack of road markings and street names, and potholes. Since then, a storm water drain cover that had collapsed at the corner of Queen Street and Cumberland Road was fixed.

“I also raised concern about the damaged pavement at the corner of Langermann Drive and Queen Street,” she said.

Some of the problems, such as the pavement at the corner of Langermann Drive and Queen Street, according to Clr Van der Molen, date back years. “I hope these problems will be fixed soon,” said Clr Van der Molen.
