See King come to blows with Frenchie
With fights that are spoken about for months afterwards, the next FightStar promises to be no different.
FightStar 7, on May 31, will see Warren King and Frenchie battle it out for the FightStar featherweight title. King has a strong Brazilian jiu-jitsu background and Frenchie is known for his powerful all-round game.
“Frenchie versus King is a fight that I have been planning for a while now. Frenchie is currently on a four-fight win streak and is an aggressive and dominant fighter. But, he could have met his match in 3-0 Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist, King,” said FightStar matchmaker Grant Oliff.
Pietro Cignoli, the FightStar president said, “Word out there is that Frenchie sees this fight with King purely as a stepping stone to the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) Africa stage. But can King prove him wrong?”
The event will take place at the St Johns Hellenic Hall in Primrose.
