EDITOR – Quite some time ago the street lights in our area, Glendower Avenue in Edenvale, were replaced and this is how one of the old street poles was left.
This workmanship is shocking; let’s hope an inquisitive child is not tempted to investigate those expired wires.
Is this the inferior standard of work we have to accept from the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality in return for paying our ever-increasing municipal rates?
