A man was arrested for possession of a stolen compressor in Yeoville.
The arrests took place at the corner of Natal and Bezuidenhout streets on Sunday, June 29.
“The police received information regarding a brown Toyota Hilux bakkie which had been used in a business robbery in the Sandringham area. The police noticed the vehicle in Yeoville towing the compressor, which was taken during the robbery,” said Constable Thabo Malatji, of the Yeoville SAPS.
According to Const Malatji, the suspect was arrested and detained at the Yeoville SAPS. Investigators will try link the suspect to the business robbery committed in Sandringham.
“The suspect is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court soon, facing charges of possession of stolen property,” said Const Malatji. @JoburgJourno
