Criminals hit Eastleigh Primary School

There is reason to believe those involved in the burglary at Eastleigh Primary School burglary may also have been involved in a burglary at Laerskool MW De Wet Primary last week.

The acting spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts, said the school’s alarm was triggered at around 3am.

When staff arrived in the morning, they found the school had been burgled.

“Two safes were cut open. Money and valuables were taken,” said Lt Col Roberts.

He added that there is reason to believe those involved in the burglary at Eastleigh Primary School may also have been involved in a burglary at Laerskool MW De Wet Primary last week.
