Windscreen washer arrested for dagga

A windscreen washer operating in Bruma was arrested for possession of dagga on August 10.

Constable Mpho Mashakane, the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, said officers were patrolling the Allum Road, Marcia Street and Albertina Sisulu Road intersection area.

They approached five windscreen washers. The windscreen washers ran and the officers gave chase.

Two of them were caught and searched. One of them was found in possession of dagga.

The suspect (18) was arrested and detained at the Cleveland SAPS.
