The Sebenza SAPS communications officer, Constable Mahamba, confirmed that a man was a victim of common robbery on Rhino Street at 1am on Saturday, August 16.
According to Const Mahamba, the man was returning after buying cigarettes at a petrol station when a Mazda stopped in front of him.
Two men exited the vehicle, grabbed him and pulled him into their vehicle. While driving around with him, the suspects searched him and stole his cellular phone and cash.
The men then left the victim at an intersection in Glen Marais.
“No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing,” said Const Mahamba. @bedfordjourno
