Police officers commended
The Cleveland SAPS was commended for attending to an incident in Cyrildene on August 7.

Ms Cecily Squire, a resident in the suburb, said a mentally unstable man attacked someone in the area and police officers were called.
“The Cleveland SAPS police officers attended to the call. The two police officers were fantastic, kind and helpful,” she said.
She said the police officers spent about two hours at the premises.
“They phoned for an ambulance to pick up the man and take him to hospital. The ambulance took a while to come. The officers stayed at the premises and kept the man calm. They eventually decided to take the man to hospital themselves. They obtained permission to take him and did so. They went out of their way and it was great to see how committed they are,” she said.
Ms Squire thanked the officers, Sergeants Manetjies and Mokami, for their help.
