Bowls challenge to take place

The 2014 Bowls Challenge will be held at the Bedfordview Country Club Bowls Club on August 29, 30 and 31.

This year will mark the fourth annual Bowls Challenge. Entry into this tournament is by invitation only and is made up of 24 teams of five players selected from the top bowlers in the country, several of whom represented South Africa in the recent Commonwealth Games.

There will not be an entrance fee for spectators. Food and entertainment will be available.

The Bowls Challenge is part of Accumulo Consulting’s ongoing social awareness programme to raise awareness of cancer. The company aims to raise as much money as possible for various cancer causes.
