Constable Mpho Mashakane, the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, said police officers were patrolling Hereford Street, in Malvern, when they saw a suspicious man.
While approaching him they saw him hide something.
“They stopped and searched him. They found dagga in his possession,” said Const Mashakane.
The suspect (27) was arrested and detained at the Cleveland SAPS.
In a separate incident, police officers received information about a man selling dagga at a spaza shop in Denver.
They went to the address provided to them and searched the suspect.
The police officers found dagga in a plastic bag.
The suspect (25) was arrested and detained at the Cleveland SAPS.
