40-year-old nabbed for drugs

According to the Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, “An on duty TNT Express employee was approached by a man wanting three packages delivered to Canada and the United States of America.

“When the employee scanned the packages, he noticed a substance inside them. He immediately alerted the police,” said Sgt Nhlabathi.

“When the Bedfordview SAPS officers arrived at the scene, they investigated the three packages. The officers found drugs inside the packages. The man attempting to send the packages was arrested and detained at the Bedfordview SAPS,” said Sgt Nhlabathi.

Investigations are ongoing and the man is due to appear in court. @BedfordJourno
