Eight injured in Bedfordview accident

Netcare 911 paramedics and other emergency services responded to an accident on the N12 near the Van Buuren Road offramp in Bedfordview on Sunday, August 31.

According to the Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Ms Santi Steinmann, “On arriving at the scene, paramedics found that a minibus had overturned. Eight people sustained injuries.”

“Eight patients were transported to hospital for further medical care after they received treatment at the scene of the accident,” said Ms Steinmann.

The exact details as to the cause of the accident, and preceding events, remains the subject of a police investigation. @BedfordJourno
