Five people were arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol in Yeoville. The arrests took place at the corner of Rocky and De la Rey streets on Saturday, August 30.
According to Constable Thabo Malatji, spokesperson of the Yeoville SAPS, the police conducted a road block at the said road and five motorists were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Const Malatji said, all the suspects are expected to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court soon, facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol. @JoburgJourno
