Woman arrested for attempted theft
The suspect was called into the management’s office for questioning and she confessed to the incident.
The Bedfordview SAPS confirmed that a woman was arrested for attempted theft at a retail outlet in Eastgate Shopping Centre on Wednesday, September 3.
Prior to the arrest, a customer at the retail shop was approached a woman who offered to steal the clothes in the shop and sell it to her for half price.
The customer informed the shop’s management.
The suspect was called into the management’s office for questioning and she confessed to the incident.
The Bedfordview SAPS were summoned and the woman was arrested for attempted theft.
