A man was arrested for possession of 27 grammes of dagga on Amber Road in Elandsfontein on Monday, September 1.
According to the Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, “The arrest was made after an on-duty officer was patrolling the area. The officer conducted a stop-and-search of a suspicious man.”
The officer found a packet of dagga wrapped in a plastic bag in the suspect’s pocket.
The man was arrested and is currently being detained at the Bedfordview SAPS.
Investigations are ongoing and the man is due to appear in court. @BedfordJourno
