Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the Jeppe SAPS communications officer, said a man alleged he was returning from work and was about to enter a flat at the corner of Charles and Sivewright streets in Doornfontein when he was approached by two men. They were in possession of firearms.
“The suspects searched him and robbed him of a cellular phone, a passport and cash,” said W/O Munyai.
The suspects fled on foot. One of them was later arrested, following information provided to the SAPS.
